Harcourt Trade Publishers' Literacy Team focuses our donation efforts on nonprofit programs that promote literacy through active reading, tutoring, and mentoring in communities that have
limited resources for books. If your organization meets these criteria, please send your donation request on letterhead stationery to:

Please indicate the quantity and age range(s) for books you are requesting, the shipping address, and (if necessary) your desired deadline. Include a federal tax-exempt identification number if your organization is nonprofit. Fulfillment of your request depends on the availability of books and the volume of requests.
We do not donate books to schools for classroom use, nor to libraries, because we offer a discount to teachers and librarians on purchases. For more information about ordering books for your classroom or

Promotional Materials Requests |

If you are a teacher, librarian, school representative, home schooler, or daycare provider, and are interested in materials targeted for children in grades Pre-K-12, we often have promotional
materials (posters, bookmarks, etc.) available in limited quantities. Please e-mail your request to booksforkids@harcourt.com.
Include a contact name with daytime phone number and e-mail address, complete shipping address, age range(s) of children, and approximate quantity of materials desired. Allow at least 4-6 weeks. We are
unable to process rush requests or ship via expedited methods. |
