accounts in good standing are eligible to apply for cooperative advertising
funds. Returnable Retailers who purchase Harcourt Trade Publishers
titles from Wholesalers are also eligible for co-op allowances with

| A retailer is classified as a dealer who purchases
Harcourt Trade Publishers titles for resale to end-consumers. Qualifying
accounts include bookstores and other specialty retailers: gift
stores, toy stores, grocery stores, membership clubs, book fairs,
home demonstration companies, and direct mail catalogs (whose customers
